Review : Samsung Galaxy Wave 525

Samsung Galaxy Wave 525 is a budget touch screen phone by Samsung. It runs on Bada Operating System of Samsung. It has a 3.2mp Rear Camera which takes good pictures. It has a battery of 1200mAh. Connectivity consists of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n , Bluetooth 3.0 , GPS , USB 2.0 It supports a microSD card upto 16Gb.

Hardware Appearance :

8.13cm WQVGA 220*400 pixel resoltion display on the front with earpiece above and three hardware buttons underneath which are Home, Call , Call End. On the Top there is a micro-usb port for charging and data syncing and a 3.5mm Headphone Jack. On the left we have a tactile volume rocker. And on the right we have the power button and a hardware button for camera.

Conclusion : I really like the phone in white colour. It fits good in hand and looks nice. The only thing i dont like about this phone is the touch. It is not perfectly smooth like on the new budget touch screen phones. But it does the job. I personally think the power button is oddly placed. The volume is high on this phone which is good. Its Price is Rs 6000 or 100$. I know it doesnt beat the new Samsung Touch screen phones like the Galaxy Y and Galaxy Pocket for similar price but remember it is a 2 year old technology. It was the boss in its time and worked like a charm.

Here are some pictures. Have a look.
